I first started the shop with the vision of bringing nature into jewelry design, inspired by native and tribal costume, wilderness, and the ocean. Sewing originally got me into making wearable goods. I first started creating feather hair clips and then got into more jewelry type projects. I found etsy and started selling my first creations, and sold a few things here and there, as well as selling
to friends. Six years ago while visiting a friend in the mountains of Southern California I made my first feather earrings and have been hooked on jewelry design ever since. Learning new techniques over the years had led to development of different styles and applications, but the vision has always remained the same. It's born out of the materials found, while paying homage to anthropological origins. Inspirations for designs are born out of traveling, nature, my heritage/global cultures, music, and my dark side. All of these themes encompass me and are intended to transcend through the medium of these wearable pieces. I then started selling my jewelry at the Ocean Beach Farmer's Market and got a great response and some awesome customers. There have also been various events I have participated in locally. I now sell on etsy, instagram, and other events that I find where handmade vendors are welcome.
