It was a privilege to perform as part of World Homeless Day, a day to honor those lost to hunger and homelessness and to celebrate the incredible people and organizations working to end it in San Diego and beyond. As we sang, a rainbow appeared, a beautiful symbol of hope and renewal that felt like a gift from God and perfectly captured the spirit of the day. We were deeply grateful for the opportunity to close the ceremony and to lend our voices to such a meaningful cause. 💜🙏🌈

What a weekend! Three gigs in just 27 hours. On Saturday we sang at Ladle Fellowship program day, and on Sunday we had two performances: first at Ladle Fellowship serve day and then at the San Diego Rescue Mission. We are tired, but more than anything we are grateful. These photos capture only a glimpse of the joy, heart, and resilience that make the San Diego Street Choir so special.

I love this group more than words can say. Though they have little in terms of material things, their voices, spirit, and faith are overflowing. They inspire me always. In every song they sing with vulnerability and honesty, praising God with a depth that reminds me what worship is truly about.

We are always looking for new opportunities to perform, but today I just want to celebrate and appreciate these amazing people. Thank you for inspiring me and everyone who hears you.

Back at Alpha Square this afternoon, had a blast as always. Catch us next leading worship at First Presbyterian Church of San Diego on Sunday, August 31st, at 9:30am. Mini concert during courtyard fellowship immediately following. ✝️🎤🤩

SD Street Choir will be back to rehearsal on 1/8/25 with Bible study right afterwards! We’ve had a nice break through advent season but, are excited to gather again and raise our voices together! Please reach out to us if your like to join in community and fellowship!
