Rainforest Art Project HANDS-ON EDUCATIONAL ART PROGRAMS Over the years we have partnered with hundreds of schools and families to make this a reality.

We are a team of professional artists and educators who have come together with a strong belief: creativity is the most important skill a child can learn — and it can be taught. Through our Professional Development program, teachers gain the skills, tools, and confidence to lead meaningful mosaic projects with their students. With guidance and support from our team from design to installation, classrooms are transformed into creative spaces where students create lasting public art together.

These eleven beautiful mosaics at Bishop Elementary School are a testament to what is possible when educators are empowered to bring art into their schools.

These four mosaic planters were created by students at Thurgood Marshall Middle School, turning creativity and teamwork into permanent public art.

The students’ creativity and talent shined through every design, transforming their original ideas into vibrant mosaic planters that will brighten their campus for years to come.

A project they’ll always be able to come back to—and proudly say, “I helped create that.” 🌿🎨

This Alebrije mosaic sculpture was entirely handcrafted by our artists at the Rainforest Art Project studio for Adams Elementary School in Washington.

Designed to welcome students and visitors at the school’s entrance, this artwork serves as both a visual landmark and a tactile experience, inviting the school community to connect with art in a meaningful way.

We are honored to create public artworks that inspire creativity and become lasting symbols for schools and communities. ✨
