Chatted with Josiah Wolf, drummer for the band Why? and showed him this picture of us from over 16 years ago when they performed at the LA Natural History Museum for First Fridays. He said that was the longest his hair ever got. He also said that I haven’t changed with the exception of the facial hair. I may not look like it but my knees and other random achey joints say otherwise lol. Great show. Been some time since I watched a show at the San Diego House of Blues VooDoo Room. Love that they have a smaller, more intimate venue.

Working on some fun things with .number.one
Very excited to finally see these come to life.

As a few of you might be aware of the end of 2022 was fraught with some heartbreak and setbacks. However seeing these screens have really brightened our outlook and helped us see a brighter perspective. We do have some cool things on the books which we are choosing not to divulge at this time. Things can change and nothing is guaranteed. We just want to enjoy what does materialize and this brings us much excitement. All we can say is keep an eye on this IG as well as our other projects , , and . You never know what life will bring forth.

Thank you for always being a good friend and amazing collaborator. You did most of the heavy lifting on this and we can’t thank you enough.

Can’t believe that it’ll be 15 years since we threw our first show. To be honest, The Ghost Channel changed my life, even saved it. Our friends have been a huge part of that. You believed in what we did and supported us as much as you possibly could at the time and you have our undying gratitude.

One of those people who have been there for us since the beginning was she made so many of our fliers, sometimes without us even asking for one. We have so much love for you and appreciate you not just as an artist but as a human. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for being you!!!

Episode 2 of the is in the can. Can’t wait to release these to the world. It’s been a lot of fun getting back into podcasting. Can you guess which movie we’re watching on episode 2?

A long, LONG time ago, I used to play in a band. Several actually. We were ok. I think more than anything that’s where a passion for putting on fun events came from. We saw a lack of available opportunities for bands in the desert. If you weren’t part of the cool clique of bands you weren’t getting any shows at the places that did throw them. We were lucky enough to get invited to play one of the final Iron Gate parties by none of their than Fatso Jetson. We put on events inviting a lot of the bands who were on the fringe and had aligned ourselves with them.

I learned early on about the importance of learning to pivot. I went from wanting to be in bands to throwing shows.

Pivoting also doesn’t mean you can’t return to the places that made you who you are. Music is an important part of who I am. Maybe I don’t write music anymore but I love giving the opportunity to artists that I enjoy to ply their craft. These days I’m doing it on my terms.

I’m grateful for those days. If I hadn’t played in a band, I would have never met the people I met who helped put me on the path I’m on today. No matter what, no regrets and I’m forever grateful.
