Sarah and Angela grew up together in our studios, advancing through divisions side by side and rising through the ranks as Ballet4S Company dancers together.

Once upon a time, Ms. Tristen moved to San Diego and walked into 4S Dance Academy. First, she became a 4S Dance mom cheering from the audience. Then, she became a teacher helping raise and inspire our dancers. Before long, she added “Studio Manager” to her role, keeping our studio organized, encouraged, connected, and always moving forward.

While it may not be part of her official title, Ms. Tristen has also become a mentor, a cherished friend, and a bright light within our studio walls. We are so lucky life brought Ms. Tristen and her family to San Diego and to the 4SDA community for our own happily ever after.

There’s something special about dancers who grow up right before your eyes and Sierra has been one of those dancers for us since she joined 4SDA at 12 years old. 💫

Over the years, Sierra became such a meaningful part of the heartbeat of our studio. Whether you watched her take the stage this season as Dorothy, sparkle as Sugar Plum, perform alongside Ballet Alliance, or greet families with a smile at the front desk, Sierra brought a quiet kindness and steadiness everywhere she went.

She grew alongside Ballet4S from its inaugural season into the beautiful dancer and young woman we know today, leaving her mark not only in performances, but in the feeling she gave this place and the people in it.

Sierra, thank you for letting us be part of your journey and congratulations on your graduation. We are so proud of you and so excited for everything ahead. 🩰🎓

Some stories begin in tiny ballet shoes. Abigail’s began at 10 years old in Division 3, proof that passion doesn’t follow a timeline.

From an inaugural member of Ballet4S to commanding the stage as the Wicked Witch, the Snow Queen, and presenting emerging choreography with Ballet Alliance, Abigail has grown into an artist with both strength and heart. Beyond the stage, she’s poured that same heart back into our studio as a ballet and hip hop teacher, helping shape the next generation of 4SDA dancers, while inspiring our community as a Dance Hope Cure Ambassador.

Abigail leaves behind more than memories, she leaves behind impact, leadership, and a little bit of magic in every studio hallway. We are so proud to have watched her grow into the person and artist she is becoming.

A full circle moment for Ballet4S. ✨

Presenting Still Waters by Kevin Jenkins at The Ballet Alliance Festival 2026 was a powerful reminder of what can happen when dancers step beyond the walls of their home studio and into larger artistic spaces.

The Ballet Alliance creates pathways for education, mentorship, and professional opportunities, and sharing this work in front of like minded peers and industry professionals was an experience our dancers will carry forward.

We are incredibly thankful to Kevin for sharing his artistry with our Company and for the chance to bring this meaningful piece to life.
