The Story Summary:
Following the mysterious disappearance of her grandmother, Ireti finds a leather-bound diary hidden beneath the floorboards. The book is alive; it predicts the future with terrifying accuracy. But there is a toll. For every page Ireti reads to see what’s coming, she loses a piece of her past. A childhood friend’s face fades away. Her mother’s voice becomes a hum. As she gains the power to change tomorrow, she realizes she’s becoming a stranger in her own life, and she isn't the only one living in the shadows of what she’s forgotten.
