We’ve got a signed 1973 Charley Harper print in the house!

While the image itself is in great shape, the previous framer taped the mat directly to the paper and used non-acid-free materials. The white boxes around the image are where the tape formally sat and reveal the original tone of the paper.

We’re still figuring out how to treat this guy in his new frame. Conservation is one of our top priorities at Ray Street and ALL of our materials are acid free.
