Introducing Fitz! The first ever font I’m releasing. It was a whole lot of fun to play and I’m excited to learn more. Fitz is an all cap Art Deco inspired font, designed for display purposes. It’s fun, funky and meant to be playful! Included is extended language support as well as some fun linking ligatures. Please give it a look at the link in my bio to the Creative Market shop. ⁣

🌱🌿🌳 My one of my favorite things about San Diego is that I live about 5 minutes away from 🌴☀️ so it’s always a dream working with how cute are these pins?! It’s also fun to work with friends 💜

👋🏽👋🏽 Hey! It’s been a minute since I posted regularly. Just in case you forgot, hi. I’m April.⁣

I live in San Diego but was born and raised in South Philly. I’m Filipino-American. 🇵🇭 The next cup of coffee is on my mind all the time. My dog’s name is Fitz. When I’m into something, I’M IN it. I love things deeply, enthusiastically and desperately wanting to share that joy with anyone who will listen.⁣

Random bits about me: I’m, not surprisingly, a stationery addict. I’m currently learning Korean. I’ve loved fan fiction since I was about 13 and I still read and love it. ⁣

Anyway. Glad to come out of my cave a little more lately. If you actually read this, I’d love to know something random about you. Like your favorite Starburst flavor. (Mines is pink.) See you soon. ✌🏽⁣

☑️ Completely fill your oval with black or blue ink⁣
☑️ Seal your voted ballot inside your paid return envelope⁣
☑️ Sign and date your return envelope⁣
☑️ Return to a trusted source⁣ like an official mail ballot drop off.
⁣
If you are confused, or not sure what to do, go to sdvote.com Double and triple check your ballots accordingly y’all!! Vote safely and early!

I’m getting my mail in ballot and dropping it off at a ballot drop off ASAP! There are 126 locations in San Diego. ⁣

If you are eligible to vote, whats your voting plan? First off, make sure you’re registered!! This election is going to be a tricky one with the pandemic and an unstable postal service. Definitely plan your voting process way ahead of Nov 3 to make sure your ballot is counted. Are you voting in person early? Are you going in person Nov 3? Are you mailing in your ballot? Does your state have weird rules like your mail in ballot needs to be inside a secrecy envelope inside another envelope?

I know a lot of us are feeling hopeless and voiceless. I know it all feels like it doesn’t matter. But showing up for this election is absolutely necessary and your vote could change this country’s trajectory for a generation. ⁣

I’m voting for Joe Biden because I don’t want Donald Trump as our president. I’m voting for because I believe in women’s rights, that Black Lives Matter and that we desperately need meaningful climate change action. I’m voting for progress, LGBTQ+ rights, for proper protection against pandemics, for universal health care, for immigrants, our Supreme Court and our future. ⁣
⁣
Joe Biden was not my first choice but he is our only choice to get this dude out of the office. He’s the step we need in the direction we NEED to go. ⁣

Hey friends! San Diego, like a lot of the country, is seeing an increase of Covid 19 cases as things reopen. I really hope you’re all trying to be as safe as possible and implementing physical distancing and wearing a mask when you have to interact with others. But I know a lot of us have to work and might be in high exposure areas. ⁣
⁣
I used 211sandiego.org to find FREE testing sites. For most of these sites you need to make an appointment and understandably, they might be booked out a few weeks out. But if you are symptomatic there is ONE walk up location at the Tubman Chavez Community Center.⁣
⁣
I’ve also included links in my bio to find testing sites and if you are interested in a flyer version of this to print and hang around your neighborhood. ⁣

This weeks prompt was to identify the indigenous land that you live on and do some research. After some searching I found that the Kumeyaay Nation and their sacred sites are currently being threatened by border patrol and those who want to build the border wall RIGHT NOW!⁣⁣

Please follow for more about the peaceful protest happening on June 5th. I’ve also linked their fundly page in my bio. ⁣ (they are almost to their $10k goal!)⁣

This is just the smallest amount of info. If you live in SD please contribute any way you can, show up for the protest if you able and find out more straight from the indigenous people of this land. ⁣⁣
