Renee Varnadore has been acting all her life. With almost 50 years in the theatre she has the experience needed to help actors achieve success at every level. She has acted, directed and produced plays all over Southern California. Renee has a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre from Cal State Fullerton. While there she did countless roles, performing in plays and showcases in Hollywood. While at Cal
State Fullerton Renee taught beginning acting for four semesters. Renee also ran the theatre department in a Lake Elsinore high school for 5 years. She increased the existing the program from 2 acting classes to 8 classes, producing 8 shows a year. Her studies with Michael Shurtleff in Hollywood improved her acting and teaching skills exponentially. Her performance of The Belle of Amherst (a play about Emily Dickinson), showcases her mastery of monologues. A very challenging piece, this one-woman show is primarily monologues, some directly to the audience, some remembered life experiences and some imaginary conversations with imagined contemporaries. Pat Launer, a noted San Diego theater critic said, “Renee Varnadore brings the enigmatic poet to quiet, pulsing life.”
