Join us for a special two-part session presented by our friends at AIGA San Diego Tijuana, the local chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and a professional organization supporting the design community through education, connection, and creative opportunities.

In support of artists and designers preparing submissions for the 34th San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF) Poster Competition, AIGA San Diego Tijuana Lead Designer Máximo Escobedo will lead a special workshop focused on developing a strong and compelling festival poster.

En apoyo a artistas y diseñadores que se están preparando para participar en el Concurso de Carteles del 34.º San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF), Máximo Escobedo, Diseñador Principal de AIGA San Diego Tijuana, dirigirá un taller especial enfocado en desarrollar un cartel sólido y atractivo para el festival.

Participants will learn more about the SDLFF Poster Competition, explore approaches to visual storytelling, and receive feedback on their artwork and design concepts.

Los participantes podrán conocer más sobre el Concurso de Carteles del SDLFF, explorar diferentes formas de contar historias visualmente y recibir retroalimentación sobre sus obras y conceptos de diseño.

From amateur filmmakers, film students, and professional artists, this program celebrates the full spectrum of independent cinema. Once censored, now celebrated—Los Video Nasties returns as a celebration of artistic freedom, bold storytelling, and uncensored expression. Stay after the screening to vote for your favorite Nastie and join a Q&A with La NASTIE Mayor, Alejandra Anzorena, writer/director of La H También Suena, winner of Best Screenplay and Best Short Film in our festival in Tijuana.
