HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my incredible Mother! She has been such a major source of strength and resilience in my life. Her unwavering dedication to her family and the challenges she faced as a single mother have shown me what true perseverance is all about. And even though it’s my Mother’s special day, it makes me reflect on the strength of so many parents out there.
While many think entrepreneurship is difficult, it pales in comparison to the immense hurdles and sacrifices that single parents bravely confront each day.
In the world of business, you can always change your path or seek alternative opportunities, but as a parent, the stakes are higher and the responsibilities monumental. The courage it takes to bring a life into this world and raise them without a roadmap or instruction manual is truly inspiring.
My Mother took on this monumental responsibility with grace and tenacity.
In the image I posted above, my Mother would sit with me in the factory at the end of the week, and make me go over my numbers. And that was just 1 of the many disciplines she instilled in me.
As a self proclaimed momma’s boy, I am forever indebted to her for the endless blessings and opportunities she created for me. I am now fortunate that I have been able to pay it forward in my efforts to empower others. Often when people are gracious enough to thank me for inspiring them, I get a huge amount of joy when I reply with a smile “Don’t thank me, thank my Mommy 🤗.”Happy Birthday Shark Momma John, and many, many more.
