House of Scotland Balboa Park Vision: Promote Scottish identity in the San Diego community through positive cultural activities and actions that recognize Scottish heritage and traditions.

Scots Singer of the Year, Iona Fyfe, returns to San Diego for a Concert on July 10. In 2021, Iona became the first singer to win the coveted title of Musician of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. She is a fierce advocate for the official recognition of the Scots Language.

General admission tickets are $25, with a $5 discount for members of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages, Inc. Tickets may be reserved by emailing [email protected]. The location of the concert is the Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater, just behind the International Cottages in Balboa Park. Doors open at 7:00 for the 7:30 concert.

Iona will also be giving a free talk at 5:00 in the Hall of Nations, just around the corner from the concert location. Watch this page for more information. Both the concert and the talk are sponsored by the House of Scotland.

Michelle & Craig Lawson take their turn in front of the camera, after kilting up many visitors, and playing lots of fun trivia with attendees at the House of Scotland booth. Making room for the coo to get in the shot too!
We had a lot of fun at the event and met SO MANY amazing people from all over the world.
