Amazing night Celebrating turning 17!!! Couldn't have asked for a more fun end to the evening, won 4 to 1 against the Silver Knights and we were Center Ice right behind the Penalty Box! Amazing freaking game tonight!

He never saw it coming. In just a moment, he stepped into eternity and met Jesus face to face. He left this world doing exactly what God called him to do, standing firm in his faith, speaking truth, and living for the Lord. That’s how fast life can change, here one second and gone the next.

None of us are promised tomorrow. We’re not even promised the next breath we take. That’s why it matters so much to put your trust in Jesus today, because we don’t know when our last moment will be.

I believe he is now filled with joy, resting in the presence of his Savior. My heart breaks for his wife and their children. As a wife, I can only imagine the weight of her pain, and I’m praying God wraps her in His comfort and strength.

And I need to say this, no child of God celebrates death. Only darkness does that. If you find yourself cheering over tragedy, you need to take a hard look at your soul. Beg God to rescue you, because something else has its grip on you.

Ok I'm not one to get political. I'm a makeup page normally, and I haven't been posting a lot lately because I've been in my Band Mom Era with my High Schooler. But this is something that I can't just not speak on.
The events that happened yesterday are disgusting. I may not agree with everything Charlie Kirk said, but it was his right as a citizen of the United States to say it. He was NOT a violent person. He was a 31 year old HUMAN BEING with a wife and children who went to college campuses and debated people PEACEFULLY! His wife and children were there when this happened, let that sink in.... they watched this happen just like a lot of us saw the video.... they saw it in real time.

He never challenged anyone, he let them step up to the mic that he provided and opened up the channel for discussion, gave advice if asked, and debated. Yes, he hurt feelings but those feelings belonged to people who stepped into his arena and debated him. He never raised his voice, he never raised his fist, he used his brains, his words and his religion.

NO ONE DESERVES TO BE GUNNED DOWN WHILE EXERCISING THEIR RIGHT TO BE SPEECH! I don't care if I agree with them or not. I don't care of YOU agree or not... that is the beauty of living in the US we are ALLOWED to not agree, we are NOT supposed to agree on everything! That is what supposed to happen, it's supposed to keep the GOVERNMENT in check, not turn WE THE PEOPLE against each other!!

In this time of division please come together and HEAL each other, love your neighbor like you love yourself!

Please keep Erika Kirk, and their son and daughter in your thoughts.

It's the very last 10 minutes of the day and we spent most of it celebrating the best son we could ask for. Kota, you are the most amazing, kind hearted, loving, intelligent, hard working, handsome kid any parent could ask for. Every day we are told how amazing you are, how good of a kid you are, his helpful you are by so many people. I can't believe you're 16 years old. Even today, on your birthday you stood by your commitment and spent 14 hours at school, first in class then helping prepare for the concert tonight, then performing and finally cleaning up and putting everything away! I know today was hard, I know you miss your dad, but he's watching over us. It started raining tonight while Kota was playing at the concert and we knew Casey was there with us, like he is every day, but he made sure we knew it tonight.

Kota, I'm excited to see where you go in life, you've got this whole world wide open for you, and the brains and drive to take it by storm!! We are so proud of you and will be here every step of the way!
