Behemoth of Bones

Once a sovereign of flesh,
Now a scourge of blight.
It’s crown broken,
Disfigured into horns.
Wings that dream of flight,
Now bound to the earth.
For all who cherished it
Lie silent within its bones,
Their screams masked by sorrow.

Included the build process within the post this time since there was one but not enough to warrant its own post. This went through a couple iterations where I tried to figure out exactly what sort of form the creature would take. I ended up finding that this was interesting given what I envisioned of an abomination.

Going from an orignally wolf-like creature, to more limbs added, to then taking on a dragonic sort of form.

This was probably the most challenging of the bone creatures to make so far as I still have the other two intact. You need to find a lot more tricks to get the shapes you want when building without certain bone pieces!

WIP Dump 2

Currently I have a ton of WIPs in my WIP boxes and bags. Since I have a bunch more projects to work on first I figured it would be good to share these! Some are completely scrapped that I’ll probably never revisit.

Most of these use big pieces to create the heads so I always make new heads every time I try to sort my parts….

Built quickly but was fun using just bones. Inspired by the bone guys from

Also taking inspiration from Dark Souls 3 Mangrubs and Bloodborne Slime Scholars. This started off with the slug man head after all. I like the way CCBS bones sorta coagulate and the glossy look to them evokes a sliminess when they start grouping together.

Build Process: Chrome Chimera

This was inspired by when he originally made his first silverpuke builds. I had made this head 9 months ago but shelved it to work on some other projects first.

I originally had no idea where to go with the head but decided turning it into a chimera would be the most appropriate for me to approach silverpuke.

I aimed to create something that looked kitbashed, with different sorta creatures fused together to make this chimera. Originally I only had two legs but it felt so small and a bit too goofy - so obviously the solution is to add more legs! I’ve never truly built a centaur before so it was a nice challenge to get the body right. Helps that I’m not trying to be 100% accurate to horse anatomy anyway.

The old bionicle silver parts have this aesthetic that gives off a sorta decayed yet futuristic look to them that fit in really well.

It took a long time to get this together but I’m really pleased with how it turned out! And double-pleased with how many of my unused parts found a purpose. I loved building this and I’m planning to make more silverpuke in the future.
