🎬🏆 Congratulations to Le Roi du Silence (The Quiet Game) and director Héloïse Martin! 🏆🎬

We are delighted to celebrate Le Roi du Silence, winner of the Alliance Award for Best Short Film at the 6th San Diego French Film Festival.

With remarkable sensitivity and compassion, Le Roi du Silence tackles the difficult subject of child sexual abuse and the devastating impact of silence surrounding it. Through a powerful script, nuanced performances, and a deeply human approach, the film gives a voice to victims while highlighting the importance of listening, believing, and protecting children.

The jury was moved by the film’s emotional honesty, its thoughtful treatment of a complex subject, and Héloïse Martin’s ability to create a story that is both heartbreaking and hopeful.

Congratulations to Héloïse Martin and the entire cast and crew for this important and beautifully crafted work. We are honored to have shared it with our festival audience.

🎥🇫🇷 Bravo!

🌟 Congratulations to Julie Delpy! 🌟
Meet the Barbarians (Les Barbares), directed by Julie Delpy, received the Alliance Award for Best Feature Film at the 6th San Diego French Film Festival.

As the patron of this year's edition, dedicated to Women's Voices, Julie Delpy honored us not only with her support but also with a film that perfectly reflects the power of cinema to spark conversation and bring people together.

Meet the Barbarians is a brilliant comedy that tackles racism, prejudice, and cultural misunderstandings with wit, intelligence, and humanity. Featuring an exceptional ensemble cast, the film manages to be both funny and deeply thought-provoking.

We are also incredibly grateful for Julie's generosity. She was so generous with her time, engaging with all our guests of the panel discussion. Her warmth, humor, and openness made a lasting impression on everyone who had the chance to meet her.

Thank you, Julie Delpy, for your remarkable contribution to cinema and for helping make this edition of the festival so special. 🎬❤️
