ARCOS DE LA HISTORIA

Los cinco paneles navegan a través de la historia de nuestro municipio, es por qué eso que este mural monumental se titula "Arcos de la Historia". Cada arco plasmado aquí es una ventana al pasado y un presente al legado de personajes ilustres que han vivido y dejado huella en estas tierras.

La obra recopila cada uno de los diferentes mandatarios y alcaldes a lo largo de la historia en una especie de línea de tiempo elaborada con placas metálicas; en cada placa podemos observar el nombre de cada mandatario, las fechas de inicio y final de su periodo, sin duda un ejercicio de rememoración precioso, en el que a cada líder se le rinde honores por la difícil tarea de estar al frente del pueblo. En la pintura podemos ver escurrimientos y efectos de desgate, las paredes pretenden estar dañadas, como si fuera una construcción avejentada por el paso del tiempo, cicatrices que cuentan historias.

This morning I had breakfast with the incredible Judy Foreman who owns the "Big Kitchen" restaurant where Whoopi Goldberg the famous comedy actress once washed dishes. Judy and I had so many things in common, as we had already met two years ago, she was one of the judges of the exhibition "together again" and a thousand other things, also she loved one of my prints. I can say that I made a new friend. thanks for having me Judy, it was amazing.
