ON MONDAY, MARCH 16th at 4pm, Common Ground Theatre begins 2026 with a special collaboration with the Department of Africana Studies at San Diego State University, continuing the programming of our 62nd Season (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026). This event brings together artists and scholars for an afternoon of performance and conversation celebrating the enduring legacy of August Wilson’s women. The panel discussion is curated by Common Ground Theatre Executive Artistic Director, Dr. Yolanda Marie Franklin, highlighting the voices, strength, and cultural impact of these remarkable characters.
