This was one fun event! The theme was Planet 9, delving into the future of nutrition and the use of AI. A storyboard for attire was sent out and 90% showed up in white. We had an awesome team, a couple of amazing speakers and the client / guests loved it! I was the emcee for this one and thanks to Keith for handling the tech end. ETS did the lighting, Coast the catering and Pepper and Pocket the entertianment. Highlight of the night was seeing Amanda, it had been way too long. 45 minutes to go and we head back to earth!

Another group was treated to the Midway Magic tonight and again they were wowed! 🤩 We had themed photo booths, Tom showed up with his motorcycle and plenty of aviator sunglasses, Continental did an amazing job with the food, the guests were treated with docent tours to the engine room and Life at Sea, the gift shop had a big night as well. 🎉 There were fireworks and IPAV did a great job with the lighting, I had dance systems in both the Hanger Bay and on the Flight Deck. It was on - end result, client was over the moon and the guests had a blast. Thanks to all that made it happen, we had a killer team onboard !!!

And that wraps May Wellness Month, Tim joined Cindy and I as we hosted virtual trivia and bingo for the Liberty Team. At 6 am we had the east - coast challenge and 9 am for the west-coast. Well over 1000 players got to have a little fun which is an important ingredient in leading a well balanced life!

We treated our Liberty Military Housing - Naval Complex San Diego military families to a true Cuban experience tonight with the amazing sounds of Sexto Senor and the Vedenza dancers, they loved it. The menu featured Empaneadas, Congris and Plantains, good times were had in PB! Drew Miller was in the hood and came down to say hi. A sound engineer I am not but I’m getting better!

The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful RSF home that hosted the Village Bloom gala tonight. It was my second year with these parents and they stepped up to support the school big time again this year. We had trips to Park City, Vegas, Tulim, Martinique and much more. It’s a great school family and I truly enjoy being their auctioneer - sold em!

Bam, a great night of fundraising for St Gregory the Great School and dang they were a fun auction crowd! Lotsa paddles in the air and smiling faces everywhere. Thanks to Holly Kalkin for thinking of me and Jose for the great sound. PTD did an outstanding job with the food and they were heading for the dance floor as I was leaving, I’m sure the party was continuing!

Mike and I were a shiny pair tonight, I love a Mardi Gras theme for a gala. I believe it’s my 14th year as the auctioneer for the Nazareth School and I think Mike has been the DJ for them all. It’s a great group and the fundraising was excellent as always, Mike had the floor packed as I was leaving. HogFarm rides again! Time for bed, a 7:30 am load in tomorrow 😳.

I get to spend Part 1 of my day with Lisa Taylor Richards and the Picnic People team. It’s the Solar Turbine’s employee appreciation bash and between the 2 Solar locations they are feeding over 3500 people. I love the menu featuring 3 different tasty, healthy, bowls. We’ve got carnival games and jumpies and they have a car competition for the employees. Some nice wheels here today!

I had a great group on the 41 last night that had Capt. Greg Woolridge, 3 x flight leader of the Blue Angels, as their keynote speaker. Man did he have some stories and some amazing video. Guys that land planes on carriers are crazy! We had a little time for stage dancers at the end😜. The Midway Magic was in full swing, thanks to Cheryl and the crew as always!

I think this was my 11th year for the LJE gala and it might be the best one yet. The live auction went nuts. It’s always a great group of parents and Kaitlin & Katy were awesome chairs. Thanks to Angel for the great sound and the Urban Kitchen Group for an outstanding job with the food service. What a night, the paddles were flying!
