THE ROPE COLLECTIVE BOOK CLUB RETURNS 💘📚 we had a hard time even thinking of book club when we returned from hiatus due to the loss of an integral member and organizer Arielle Source Love 🕊️

but we know she would want us to go on and DEFINITELY want us to read this book as it was her bid for selection prior to her passing.

Dark Moon Rising: Pagan B**M and the Ordeal Path by Raven Kaldera- Throughout history, from the Hindu Kavadi ceremony to the Lakota Sun Dance, the Ordeal Path has been an honored spiritual road to the magic of the flesh, and to touching the Gods. Today many Pagans are discovering this path, by accident or by design. Simultaneously, many practitioners of secular B**M are finding themselves having spiritual experiences in the middle of their most secular scenes. This book explores the crossover points between both these communities and practices, a cross-section which is growing steadily, baring controversial articles on topics as diverse as sacred pain, bo***ge, hook suspension, cathartic Pagan ritual, the spirituality of dominance and submission, and being the slave of the Gods. With contributions by noted authors and activists in both communities, and stunning photography by artist and Sh***ri-Do master Bridgett Harrington, this book is an awe-inspiring gateway into the Realm of the Underworld... and back again.

We have decided to order some copies for folks so accessibly is easier: you can pick up a copy from us at reUnify Yoga •• San Diego in ocean beach or we can arrange delivery in most of sd and north county.

We also are giving plenty of time! Sunday, Nov 1st at 2pm will be our in person book club meeting for this selection at Ocean Beach Coffee and Plants 🌿☕️

We will have an ongoing conversation happening on our discord server - link in our bio to join! (This is also where we vote on book selections and other logistics)

What’s up Vista / San Diego !! Join us for another powerful Trap Chi experience. Trap Chi is tai chi to trap music instrumentals. We fuse elements of traditional tai chi, yoga, affirmations, meditation and much more together to help you learn how to feel and cultivate your own chi.

We are going from 3-8pm At The Dragons Nest.

At this event you can expect live music, comedy, sound bowl healing, vendors, plant based food and great community vibes!

Be sure to bring your yoga matt and reusable water bottle. There is street parking in abundance!

Choose Your Own Adventure sh***ri tying workshop is Friday, September 4th at 7:30pm reUnify Yoga •• San Diego Healing Space — San Diego at BACON studio- 2183 Bacon Street San Diego, California, 92107.

This is an all levels for rope tying course but please make sure to read our code of ethics and have a baseline of foundational knowledge: e.i. informed consent, negotiation, aftercare as we would like to dive into tying ASAP.

This class may be taken with a partner or self tied. So couples and solo attendees are both welcome.

Power Exchange 💋 with Mistress Mary Jane workshop this Saturday, August 29 at 7pm at reUnify Yoga •• San Diego Healing Space — San Diego BACON studio - 2183 Bacon Street San Diego, California, 92107.

Discipline with a capital D and lowercase s. Learn how to create a strict and loving D/s dynamic. From rules to rituals- this class will guide you on creating a high protocol dynamic between Dominant and submissive that is uniquely curated. We will cover the foundations of B**M and power exchange- vetting, informed consent, negotiation (and continued negotiation), aftercare, safety + risks, and how to practice ethically. We’ll then take a deep dive into different protocols and processes and how to enforce and uphold your dynamic while keeping an emphasis on compassion and care. We’ll cover different ideas for praise, rewards, punishment, discipline, and honoring each other. By the end of this class- you’ll know how to be the goodest sub (and able to decide when to be bad)

This is an all levels event! We will be focusing on theory and applications but feel free to bring your favorite implements such as rope, impact toys, wax, leather, outfits, etc .

Partners are not required and you are always able and welcome to come solo and/or just observe and take notes!

Welcome to our community open forum series! These discussion panels will open the floor for folks in our community to discuss, share our thoughts, and find resolution patterns that work for the people who make up this community.

This panel will focus on accountability vs. coercive control and examples of each in action. Our discussion will focus on outlining definitions, how these mechanisms work, how to approach co-opting of this language and how communities can develop tangible and ethical plans to hold ourselves accountable.

We will have a featured speaker and topic each time which will include a discussion between the panelist and monitor but also open to Q&A from our audience. The discussions and collective conclusions we develop together will shape in real time our policies and procedures at the collective.

We are proud to host BrittaneyDoesTherapy as our panel speaker.

Meet Brittaney Latta (she/her), a bisexual, poly, addict in recovery, complex trauma survivor turned therapist on a mission to end mental health stigma & empower the LGBTQ+ community to have better relationships with themselves and others.

She’s all about real talk, sharing her journey, and creating spaces where you can show up exactly as you are.

Welcome to a sadistic rope class with evil genius ideas. This rope course will take you through different ideas and methods of inflicting brilliant and loving painful scenarios. Sick and twisted and divine ideas await you!

This is an all levels course but please familiarize yourself with our code of ethics and foundational knowledge such as informed consent, negotiation, aftercare- this way we can focus on the specifics of technique in the class.

This class can be taken with a partner or solo however many of the demos do require a partner if you plan to tie along with us. You can modify and self tie, observe and take notes, or sometimes solo attendees pair up however we never pressure or guarantee this to happen.

The ties and positions, etc are modifiable for intensity and each unique body and needs. Visit our website to get tickets!

Our next Land Tending event is on the books and this Sunday!! Aug 23 11:11am-11:11pm at The Dragons Nest 🐉 in Vista. Address provided upon registration. This is a donation based event! Sign up through our website or Partiful. 🌱

A Dragon’s Nest and The Rope Collective Eco & Art Party! A Work Party, skill + art share, eco gathering, and ceremony of the Earth! A reoccurring event to cultivate the land for community events, gardening, and Sanctuary.

This time projects include:

-Cutting up and moving the pine tree

-Regenerative gardening plot building

-Seeding and planting lavender, passion fruit, peach, and CHAOS GARDENING

-Collaborative mural painting

-Wood working

-Essential oils and medicinal brews

Plus much more!!

This is also potluck style so bringing a dish or beverage is welcome and appreciated.

We also encourage all forms of artistic expression and entertainment for sundown festivities!

There will be an aerial rig, sh***ri suspension rig, and pole available for use! As well as DJ equipment for folks to plug in 🎶

Kid and family friendly during the day! 🌱 just be aware of any hazardous or high risk activities or materials around the property: you are responsible for their safety and supervision.
