This was my first final design for my holiday cards this year which I was pretty happy with, but I also ended up making an alternate design which I’ll share with you later this week. I will say that making these cards took a lot more time and effort than I was anticipating, but it will be worth it to know that it brings joy to my friends and family’s faces in this holiday season after another challenging year.

Since I had more text to get onto this slightly smaller ornament I decided to give a different ink a shot and went with the ph Martin’s bleed proof white. I was really happy with how it turned out! Now just hoping it won’t be too delicate, as I greatly preferred using this versus the pen touch paint pen. What type of ink do you prefer when working with acrylic?

Working on some more layout options for holiday ornaments. This one is for our own tree as this is our first Christmas as a married couple! (9th total). I’ll show the completed ornament later this week, but spoilers, it was impossible for me to try to get that level of detail on the rings with the paint pen so I had to pivot and try a simpler design.

Playing with some letter art with a really fun tutorial from for this Thanksgiving holiday week! This was the first time I’ve tried making art with pointed pen and it was such a fun way to play. Actually sending this one to one of my dear friends as a ‘just because’ token of gratitude in this season of thankfulness. Hope those who are celebrating this week have a wonderful holiday filled with love and happiness.
