New addition to my San Diego shirt collection I’m excited about. Let’s dissect this one. It seems to be a hybrid of many things, Pooh is crossed with Tony the Tiger for some reason. Diplomats chains are included, showing this shirt to originate from that Wave around when Jim Jones got in. This whole swag is Bastardized from Harlem for the San Diego hood market. Tiger pooh choice of Breitling watch and hat tilt makes me wonder if this is intended to be JR Writer in some abstract form.

Here’s a OG 1992 GD Lithuania shirt with hippie repair work.
I have embarked on a patchwork journey. I experiment with my clothing to imbue it with a timeworn character and story. People have a tendency to treat clothing as Heirlooms to keep forever. The personal touch of customization and the acts of salvaging and repairing also influence me.

This house was so far out you could not see these guys hanging out until it was too late. I didn’t want to sketch out and turn around scared so I hopped out and made some friends. The guys on the unsafe roof were yelling about converting it into a sun deck and having keg party’s up there. That revealed a sense of optimism and freedom along side some recklessness and unrealistic expectations that come with dreams like that. The part of the roof not in photo is completely collapsed and I would worry about just being up on that roof, let alone make it my new luxury hang out. Also, from talking with these guys, the folks who live in the desert just treat the whole desert like it’s theirs and come and go into the bandos. Guy knew about all the ones I was in.
