New owners, who dis?!
With an abundance of gratitude for an opportunity to relaunch this company, we’d like to start with this...
Hello! Greetings! And Peace! 🙂
We’re the Q. family, a tribe of creative-entrepreneurs, a mix of Guamanian / Filipinx-Americans, lovers & friends of hip hop culture, and coffee / plant enthusiasts.
Before any of this happened, every one of us were in separate lifestyles ranging from:
• insurance
• specialty coffee
• hip hop culture
• botany
• being a momma
• sports
• interior design
• travel
While we are an islander family with collective values, we all lived together but we were working separately 🏠..
But then the ‘rona happened 🦠
Required to stay home. No more traveling. —for every one of us.
Family members have made progress in their own work in the last 10+ years we aspired make moves.
So we set out a family mission.
A mission to share our:
- curiosities / interests
- personal to family experiences
- values (in empathy, love, & sharing)
This is for our communities.
Building something bigger than each of us, for each of us.
From the hurdles of numerous delayed / overpriced equipment repairs, to catching & recovering from the ‘rona, to using the funds of our other business to keep this project afloat, we chipped at La Marque’s relaunch every single day.
After La Marque’s close in March 2020, we, the Q. Family (also know as ) took ownership in August, and are now open as of January 2021!
Servicing:
- Specialty Coffee (roasted by us, in-house)
- House plants / Home & Decor by
- Beer & Wine (coming soon)
- Community (safely projected)
