The Play: When parents and their adoptive daughter meet up with Dad’s long lost family members for a reunion weekend, multiple situations that occur during the weekend force everyone to grapple with the true meaning of kin.

The Playwright: Roxanne Pratt of Encinitas, CA enjoys writing one act comedies focusing on social foibles, relationships and animal-human interactions. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Health Education Specialist. She previously worked in the television news industry. Her play, MARK’S SHORTS, won an Honorable Mention in the 2024 Script Tease of Short Plays Competition.
