Part 5 will have to wait of why I left the yarn industry will have to wait. I'm still overwhelmed by the outpouring of support.
But opening my DMs to message after message from other people in the business sharing their own stories of harassment and bullying from Annette Corsino of The Knitting Tree has knocked me on my ass. I had no idea 4 years ago that she had this track record or that there were so many people she'd done this to. I felt a bit of relief, followed quickly by the thought:
If I'd known then what I know now, I would have immediately taken legal action and sent my Google drive file of ALL her communications and payment records to every shop owner and customer.
I feel dirty and complicit in protecting her shop's image by my silence. Gonna go check eBay to see if there's a case of expired Sweet Fish I can send her way.
