Today is Day 3 of setting up my booth for the Kings Mountain Art Fair, and I can’t wait to see everything come together! 🦢💙
I’ll have my 3D mosaic artwork, jewelry, and puzzles featuring my original mosaic landscapes—all ready for you to explore starting on the first day of the fair!
And this year is extra special for me because, for the first time, I have the largest booth, taking over Hiep’s space while he takes a break from participating in the fair this year. It’s a big space, and I’m having so much fun filling it with my art! 🎨✨
I hope you’ll come visit, say hello, and see my newest creations in person. I’d LOVE to see you there! ❤️

🌲 Join Me at the 63rd Annual Kings Mountain Art Fair! 🎨

Come visit the 63rd Annual Kings Mountain Art Fair this Labor Day weekend: Saturday, Sunday & Monday, September 5–7, 2026, from 10 AM–5 PM, beneath the majestic redwoods of Kings Mountain.

The Fair is run entirely by community volunteers, who also create the beautiful mosaic artwork throughout the community, including murals, signs, and benches.

Featuring 135+ juried artists, including 20 local Mountain artists, the Fair showcases fine art and crafts while supporting the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade and Kings Mountain Elementary School.

I’m excited to be part of this wonderful community tradition! Come say hello and explore my newest mosaic wall hangings, mushrooms, totems, jewelry, and mosaic puzzle collection. 🦢✨

I’m thrilled to share my brand-new Portofino mosaic, inspired by a photo I took during my trip to Portofino in April this year. It was completed just in time for the upcoming Kings Mountain Art Fair over Labor Day weekend! ✨🌊✨There is something especially unique about this piece: it is my first landscape mosaic designed entirely without a sky. The original view was taken from the top of the Brown Building, looking down over the vibrant buildings, harbor, and breathtaking coastal landscape of Portofino.Visiting the Fair:🍳 Hot Breakfast: Served starting at 8:00 a.m. (come early to catch it!)🚌 Parking & Transit: Park along Skyline Blvd and catch the free shuttle directly to the fairgrounds.

I came to the Pescadero Festival to pick up my artwork from the two-day exhibition this weekend. To my surprise, 4 out of my 6 pieces were sold! This is the first time I’ve ever sold four pieces during such a short exhibition. What wonderful news! I’m so happy and grateful!
One of the sold pieces, “A Girl and Her Cat,” was created just two months ago. What makes this sale especially meaningful is that it will become a birthday gift for my granddaughter, who was the inspiration behind the piece. It couldn’t have found a more special home! ❤️

If you are in the area, stop by to check it out. The event is on every first Thursday at the Centennial art and music on the First Thursday - Today, 8/6 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The live music is amazing!

This custom mosaic was inspired by my client's property overlooking Mt. Shasta and incorporates his own collected obsidian stones and flakes, along with raw sapphires. The biggest challenge was finding a meaningful way to use the obsidian. After much thought (and even a few dreams!), I used the tiny obsidian flakes to create Mt. Shasta itself, giving the mountain both rich texture and a personal connection to the land.
Larger obsidian pieces, sapphires, ceramic owls, butterflies, and tiger-eye frogs were woven into the landscape, creating layers of texture and little discoveries throughout the artwork.

My favorite part of every commission is hearing the client's reaction:
"WOW! It is unbelievably beautiful. The attention to detail is astounding. I could stare at it for hours and still discover something new. It will have a place of honor in our home, where the changing light will bring out the beauty of all the incredible materials in the piece."

I'm very happy to share that three of my pieces have been accepted into the 32nd Annual Ruth Bancroft Garden "Sculpture in the Garden" exhibition, which runs from June 21 through August 10.

This year's show features 42 artists and more than 80 sculptures displayed throughout the beautiful Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek.

The Sip & Stroll event will be held on Friday, June 26, at 5:00 PM. If you visit the Garden that evening, I hope to see you there and share this special exhibition with you!
