Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has reopened at EPCOT with its new 2D projection system, and we took a ride this morning to see how it compares.

The new visuals are crisp and bright, but the switch away from 3D changes the feel of the attraction. The physical sets now stand out more from the projected scenes, and the sense of motion is noticeably reduced. On the positive side, those who struggled with motion sickness—or kids who found the 3D version a bit intense—may actually prefer this update.
