CTMO Concert February 7, 2026 - Benefitting Austin Lighthouse for the Blind

Please join us THIS SATURDAY for a concert supporting Austin Lighthouse for the Blind 🎶

Austin Lighthouse for the Blind is a local nonprofit that assists blind and visually-impaired individuals in building or restoring their independence through skills training, education, and employment opportunities that encourage them to be gainfully employed, become involved in their local community, and give voice to blind and visually-impaired Texans.

The concert will feature guest soloist Guillermo Delgado singing Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer and other selections! The program will also include Rossini’s Barber of Seville Overture, Suppé’s Light Cavalry Overture, and Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1.

A reception will follow the concert, including light bites, live music, and the opportunity to speak with our featured soloist and orchestra members. Thank you to our reception sponsor Austin Hearing Aid Center

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors, and $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased via the link in our bio, or via cash, check, or credit card at the door.

We are less than two weeks away from our holiday concert! Mallory McHenry, Harpist, lecturer of Harp at the University of Texas at Austin, is the featured soloist who will be performing William Grant Still’s Ennanga with our orchestra. This concert will support Caritas of Austin, a local nonprofit whose mission is to provide a home and tailored services to prevent and end homelessness.

Exclusive to this special holiday concert there will be:
- A raffle for the opportunity to conduct CTMO in a performance of Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride
- A Silent Auction that includes a conducting lesson with CTMO’s music director, a pair of January 2026 Austin Symphony BATS tickets, and more!

We’re still glowing from last Saturday’s concert! It was so nice to see so many members of our community engaged in a number of ways. Big thank you to Stephen Page for an unforgettable performance, 4116 Saxophone Quartet for sharing their music with us at the reception, and to Swan Songs - Austin for collaborating with us.

We’re less than 4 days away from our opening concert for our 2025-2026 season CTMO Concert Sep 27, 2025 - Benefitting Swan Songs featuring soloist Stephen Page, saxophone professor from the University of Texas at Austin. He will be performing Glazunov’s Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra. Members of the UT Austin saxophone studio will also be performing music at the post-concert reception.

A reception will follow the concert, including light bites from HEB and Zucchini Kill Bakery live music by 4116 Saxophone Quartet and the opportunity to visit with our featured soloist and orchestra members.

We are one week away from the CTMO Concert Sep 27, 2025 - Benefitting Swan Songs! Stephen Page, saxophone professor at the University of Texas at Austin, is the featured soloist who will be performing Glazunov’s Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra. This concert will support Swan Songs - Austin, a local nonprofit that creates a sense of connection for individuals near the end of life by gifting them private concerts, and supports live music in our community by compensating artists for those concerts.

We wanted to highlight a story from Swan Songs.

A reception will follow the concert, including light bites from H-E-B and Zucchini Kill Bakery, live music by 4116 Saxophone Quartet, and the opportunity to visit with our featured soloist and orchestra members.
