Dearest Trivia Troopers, it is that time to announce that JoeCatCool Trivia has come to an end at The Cottage Irish Pub. We had a great run for almost two years and now the sun has set. Stay tuned to the page to see if we pop up somewhere else or, if there is a demand to bring us back, return to The Cottage. Thanks to all the players and The Cottage Irish Pub for the great times we had. We'd also like to wish everybody a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year.

The following categories apply to The Cottage Irish Pub for Monday, November 11th. The categories are Collegiate Sports Nicknames (University of Texas would be Longhorns...and stick only to Associated Press (AP) top 25 teams) and U.S. Five Star Military Men (Veterans Day shout out). CATEGORY RELEASE! CATEGORY RELEASE! The following categories apply to The Cottage Irish Pub for Monday, November 4th. The categories are Famous Acting Families (brothers/sisters/bros-sisters/mom-son etc...you'll get the first name and have to answer the last name) and Prominent Types of Martial Arts (there are A LOT of these, but they're not all prominent...so don't go too deep and stick with the more popular ones). Another Monday Night Trivia at The Cottage Irish Pub is in the books and the points were flying around last night! For some reason, there were plenty of multiple-question opportunities and they did not go to waste. It is possible that we had the highest score ever! Thank you to all the players for making Monday Night Trivia such a fun and competitive event. On to the accolades we go! Congratulations to 3 GALS & 1 GUY for winning the 1st Place on the Other End Prize! They were a brand new team and they did quite well for their first time. Great game, 3 GALS & 1 GUY! Congratulations are also in order for TEXAS PIONEERS for taking home the 2nd Place Prize! They started off in second place and finished in second place, scoring a lot of points but not enought for this evening. Excellent game, TEXAS PIONEERS! And the big kudos of the night goes out to DISAPPOINTED for taking down the coveted Trivia Crown! Whatever they were disappointed about did not carry over to their game, which they dominated (a better name?)! They started out perfect and stretched their lead in each round until they closed out the game with a huge third round and danced out the door with the title. Impressive game, DISAPPOINTED! Thanks again to all the players for making Monday Night Trivia such a vibrant affair. Remember to share this page and let everybody know about Live Trivia.
