Today was the day— our Grand Reopening of our theatre and Opening Day of The Very Hungry Caterpillar! 🐛

We’ve waited so long to open up our doors back to you and we’re so excited to continue sharing the power of the performing arts to audiences young and wise.

Thank you to our patrons and contributors who’ve been nothing short of supportive and amazing. And thank you to Hemisfair and the ce group, inc. for making this celebration possible!

Here's what you need to know about tomorrow's event:

PARKING INFO: The S. Alamo St. Lot, Martinez St. Lot, and Hemisfair Garage are available to park in. Hourly rates apply.

SCHEDULE:
12:00-12:30 PM – Ribbon cutting ceremony
12:30-1:30 PM – Party in the Park
1:00 PM – Doors open to theatre
2:00 PM – Opening performance of The Very Hungry Caterpillar

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY AND PARTY IN THE PARK ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. YOU MUST PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THE 2:00 PERFORMANCE OF THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR.

We cannot wait to open our doors again to the public and show off our newly renovated theatre. We're also excited to kick off our summer production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, running June 13 - August 2, 2026.
