Recognized by audiences for their innovative and diverse concert programming, ensemble offerings include the Trinity Choir, Voix d’Esprit, Chamber Singers, and Choral Union. In San Antonio, the choirs perform for a large number of campus and community events with a repertoire that encompasses works from the Renaissance era to the 21st century. Recent large-scale works performed with the Trinity Symphony Orchestra include Mozart’s Requiem, Poulenc’s Gloria, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Bach’s Magnificat, Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Charpentier’s Te Deum H.146, and Vaughan Williams’ Toward the Unknown Region. Over the years, Trinity’s choral ensembles have received invitations to perform for many professional conventions including the National Collegiate Choral Organization, the Music Educator's National Conference, the College Music Society, and the Texas Music Educators Association. International tours have included Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Romania, Yugoslavia, and Israel. The latter produced an invitation to perform with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. The choral program also sponsors Trinity’s annual “Celebration of Women’s Voices,” a multidisciplinary showcase event that supports local charities and non-profit organizations.
