Jay’s Nuclear Hamster

Jay Fort copy wrote the logo for the Nuclear Hamster when he was attending North Texas State, Denton, TX., fall of 77 ... we’ve heard that there are others who have taken the name of “Nuclear Hamsters” and that’s OKay with us... the more the merrier... “ The Nuclear Hamsters Experience” aside from being a powerful performance ensemble, is a vehicle for the performers to present their musical compositions and have them performed by pro-minded players that intend to rock your world & uplift your spirits. Seasoned veterans of Jazz & other genres of music, throughout the years have performed from Blonay, Switzerland, at the Hindemith Foundation featuring there electronic/chamber ensemble composition “Rain Forest Lament,” from Vegas, Texas, Universities, etc. etc.. give their all. Jay Fort M.M. is a professional saxophonist/flautist, composer/arranger & educator who has performed for more that 30 years. Past performance have been with Artie Shaw’s Big Band, Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Evita Road Show, the One O’Clock Lab Band, North TX state, the Creative Opportunity Orchestra (CO2) and recorded with condor (Inner City Records)... He is the foundation of the Nuclear Hamsters... and at present arranging Ms. Carol Cisneros’ composition for the CD recording @ Blue Cat Recording Studio, San Antonio, Joe Trevino - outstanding engineer, Al Gomez -trumpet, Kevin Hess - drums, Chris Villanueva - piano, Pete Ojeda - bass; also, featured on “Csi’s Blues George Prado - bass, & Chuck Glave - Drums. Ms. Cisneros aka “Csi” though she is disable is an accomplished guitarist, jazz vocalist, composer, educator, writter & visual artist. Our love of music, especially jazz and the arts are what we are about... Hoping to finish Carol & the Nuclear Hamster CD this year - 2018.
