1st Texas Light Artillery Battery E We are a group of historical reenactors from South Texas who portray a Federal or Confederate Artillery Battery in the American Civil War.

We participate in Reenactments in Texas and Nationally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to Soccoro, New Mexico.

Went all the way up to Canton, South Dakota with the gun and joined Neely’s Roughneaks to represent a Texas battery at this far northern event. Ended up doing a Lundquist family artillery crew with my brother Mike and his sons Per and Hans as well as Mica who was the son of a high school buddy of mine Spencer and Hans’s old room mate. Special thanks to Dale Swanstrom and Peter Fahlberg and their families who helped store the gun and support us this far north.

We will be attending the National Event depicting the Franklin campaign this October. We will be establishing camp on Thursday afternoon and be there for the event Saturday and Sunday as well as education day on Friday.
