A little behind-the-scenes look at the work happening before Grant Award Night. ✨

The 2026 Grant Award Finalists spent time with our Agencies & Applications leaders, Jen Bligh and Lynn Platteborze, in a prep session to get guidance and ask questions about the grant award process.

We’re proud to support the organizations working to strengthen San Antonio. 🤝

Fifty years ago, YOSA performed its very first concert.

This season, we come full circle.

Our 50th Anniversary Celebration brings together current musicians and alumni to perform the very first piece YOSA ever played, side by side.

Acclaimed alumna Christine Lamprea, Cellist returns as soloist, the next generation of musicians takes the stage, and Holst's magnificent The Planets provides a powerful finale worthy of this historic milestone.

This concert also marks the beginning of YOSA's next chapter as we celebrate the opening of our first permanent home, creating a place where future generations will discover the same joy, opportunity, and belonging that have defined YOSA for 50 years.

Here's to the first fifty, and everything that is still ahead!
