They may even receive a Indigenous smudging (cleansing of their aura) in preparation for their session (completely optional). One of the owner’s is a university visual arts professor whose expertise is in Mexican Indigenous culture. She will guide the participants in a step-by-step process to create your own work of art. At the end of the session, not only will they be relaxed, refreshed, and positive you will get to take home your own custom paintings. It is important that we provide a unique and creative cultural art making experience with quality service so clients will feel accomplished in this process. Like the other arts and entertainment businesses, the clients will be able to bring their favorite alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage and snacks to enjoy while they paint. Towards the end of the session, we will offer the client filtered water, organic coffee or organic tea and cookies. 📍 San Antonio City Limits Resource

Please share this far and wide. Save it on your phone, print a few copies, and add it to your group files so it’s always easy to access.

Whenever you see a rehoming post or an “accidental litter,” please share this resource right away. Providing information early can help prevent animals from entering an already overwhelmed system.

A reminder: the Eastside and Westside spay/neuter clinics are available to all San Antonio ZIP codes, not just the originally designated areas.

If you’re able to help someone navigate the process, whether that’s signing up, scheduling an appointment, arranging transportation, or simply pointing them in the right direction. That support can make all the difference. Sometimes, a little guidance is all that’s needed.

While there will always be a small number of people who choose not to spay or neuter, many families simply need access, information, and a helping hand.

Outside the San Antonio city limits, resources become much more limited. Unincorporated Bexar County and neighboring counties like Bandera, Medina, Atascosa, and others need greater access to affordable spay/neuter services. Collaborative solutions, such as a mobile spay/neuter unit and expanded community partnerships, are essential because this issue doesn’t stop at city or county lines. Budgets may be tight, but the need is urgent, and our response should reflect that.
