Gen X electricians…

How much longer are you going to build someone else’s future?

I’m 58.
Been in the trade a long time.
Made money. Lost money.
Bought the truck before I built the plan.
Stayed comfortable too long.

Nobody sat me down at 35 and said:

“Here’s how you stop trading your body for a paycheck.”

So I’m doing it now.

I’m putting together a small live session for Gen X electricians who are tired of:

• Feeling stuck
• Watching younger guys pass them
• Having no exit plan
• Thinking “one day”

No hype.
No 6-figure fantasy talk.
Just real strategy from someone still in it.

If I’m being real with you… I’ve fallen more times than I can count.

I’ve been broke. I’ve been broken. I’ve sat in silence wondering if I was even strong enough to get back up again. There were nights I wanted to quit — on the dream, on myself, on everything.

But something inside me never let go.
A small fire, even when the world felt cold.
A whisper that said, “This isn’t the end. Get up. Keep climbing.”

Maybe that’s what becoming a legend is really about.
Not being flawless.
Not winning every battle.
But being relentless.
Refusing to stay down.

Every scar tells the story of another climb. Every stumble is proof that I was moving forward. And every time I got back up, I became a little stronger, a little clearer, a little closer to who I’m meant to be.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about persistence.
And I’m still climbing.

I don’t know if this will sound crazy, but I’ve been feeling something stirring deep inside me lately.

It’s like life has been preparing me for something bigger, and I can’t quite explain it — only that every choice, every setback, every climb has been shaping me into who I’m meant to be.

I’m not perfect. I’ve stumbled, I’ve fallen, I’ve questioned myself more times than I can count. But through it all, one truth keeps coming back:
The power of choice is everything.

I don’t want to just live.
I don’t want to just get by.
I want to build something that outlives me… something that feels bigger than just Chad.

I don’t know what becoming a legend really looks like yet.
But I do know this is where it begins.
