Fine handmade functional pottery for sale. Six week classes available for adults. Pottery wheel thro All of my pottery is handmade stoneware.

Individually glazed and fired to 2300 degrees, no hydraulic presses, slip molds or other mass production techniques are used. My pottery is safe for microwave ovens, dishwashers, and conventional ovens. Toxins or leads are never used in glazing. Check out these delightful pieces in our gallery made by one of our lovely assistants Alfie Dempsey. Her process is the intersection where functional pottery meets illustration! 🎨

What makes Alfie’s work so incredible is that each of these pieces start as raw, wheel thrown clay which becomes her blank canvas. With her masterful brush control, she is able to meticulously paint these vibrant illustrations directly onto the clay body before it ever meets the kiln!

From the intricate silhouettes of the palm fronds against that gorgeous sunset gradient to the whimsical speckles on the mushroom caps, you can truly feel the artist’s hand in every single stroke! 🍄🌴

Alfie is just one of the over 30 incredible artists we represent here in the studio. Whether you are looking for bold sculptural work or unique functional favorites, there is a massive variety to explore right now! ✨

After a week of much needed rest and rejuvenation, the studio is back in action and open for our normal business hours!

Look at the incredible burst of movement in the center of this piece. The way those vibrant blues explode outward makes it look just like a firework lighting up the summer sky on the 4th of July! 🎆

🏖️ Holiday Studio Notice: To celebrate the holiday and enjoy some summer sunshine, the studio is taking a short break to recharge our creative batteries!

We are officially closed this week, but we be back at the wheel on Tuesday, July 7th.
