WIFT TEXAS ANNOUNCES PAULINA MANSEAU AS INAUGURAL COASTAL BEND REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Women in Film & Television Texas [WIFT Texas] is proud to announce Paulina Manseau as the organization’s inaugural Coastal Bend Regional Director, marking the first appointment in WIFT Texas’ new Regional Directors initiative. Manseau, an award-winning filmmaker, is a WIFT Texas founding Professional Member who joined the organization in 2023. She is an actress, director, writer, producer, and the marketing manager with Visit Corpus Christi Film & Music Commission. Manseau brings a powerful blend of creative experience, regional insight, and industry-facing leadership to the role.

Great stories come from diverse voices, and I’m excited to support and celebrate the women helping shape the future of the Media & Entertainment industry throughout the Coastal Bend,” said Paulina Manseau, founding WIFT Texas member & Coastal Bend Regional Director, and Marketing Manager, VISIT Corpus Christi, Film & Music Commission. “Corpus Christi and the broader Coastal Bend are full of storytellers, artists, filmmakers, musicians, performers, and creative professionals whose voices deserve to be seen, heard, and connected. I look forward to helping WIFT Texas build community, expand access, and create opportunities for women across this region and throughout the state.”
As Coastal Bend Regional Director, Manseau will help expand WIFT Texas membership engagement, identify regional programming opportunities, elevate local professionals, and strengthen connections among members, partners, productions, civic leaders, and creative entrepreneurs across Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend region. Her appointment reflects WIFT Texas’ commitment to building leadership pathways in growing and underserved Texas regions while supporting members where they live, work, create, and lead.

As Coastal Bend Regional Director, Paulina Manseau will help activate WIFT Texas membership and programming across Corpus Christi and the surrounding region. In this role, she will serve as a local connector for member sessions, socials, speaker series, partner activations, professional development opportunities, and special programming designed to extend WIFT Texas’ statewide benefits into the Coastal Bend market.
“Our analysis confirmed what we already knew anecdotally: Women are underserved in the growing media industry in the vast state of Texas, especially in regions within driving distance of major cities. We are excited to move forward with our WIFT Texas Regional Director plan by appointing award-winning writer and producer Paulina Manseau, representing the Coastal Bend,” said Eileen Kret, Board of Directors Vice President, Women in Film & Television Texas.
Manseau’s appointment reflects WIFT Texas’s commitment to growing through collaboration, not competition, while continuing to execute on its big-tent membership model that welcomes qualified professionals across Texas and beyond, including members who maintain relationships with multiple WIFTI chapters.
