Just finished this painting yesterday, an image from my Chuckwagon Cooks series. It will be included in my exhibition at Cappy’s Restaurant October 20 through December 7. Plan to stop by and have some incredible food and see the rest of the show!

This little 6x8” garlic was the perfect warm up for my upcoming show at Cappy’s Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas - Oct. 20 - Dec. 7, 2025.

Makes me want to be at the easel! And, that’s a good thing because I’m in the process of creating 25 new paintings for a solo show at Cappy’s Restaurant in San Antonio. The show will be from October 20-December 7. You can see my stack of paintings in progress. Hope you’ll stop by!

I was excited to receive word recently that my painting, “Saltwater Serenity” was awarded 2nd Place in the Portrait & Figure category of the 26th Annual Pastel 100 Competition!

The ocean has always been a huge source of peace and tranquility for me so I’m especially thrilled that this painting was recognized.

Congratulations to all who were accepted into the show and a big thank you to judge Ilene Gienger-Stanfeld!

I was extremely excited recently to have been accepted into the 6th Annual “PURE COLOR” Online International Juried Exhibition sponsored by the Pastel Society of North Carolina. Out of 876 entries, 175 paintings were chosen to be a part of this exhibition. Today I learned that my painting titled “Garden Exuberance” has won a Merit Award as well. I am so thrilled to be represented in this prestigious show among so many incredible artists. Congratulations to all who were accepted and who won awards. And a big thank you to International award winning hyperrealist pastel artist from New Zealand, Michael Freeman, for doing such an incredible and difficult job as Judge of the Show!

I am thrilled to have had two paintings accepted into the Pastel Society of Southern California’s (PSSC) International Show.

This particular entry is titled RAIN WASHED. 10 x 15” Pastel on Arches 140 lb. Watercolor paper. This is a secluded little hidden spot on Crane Road in Pleasanton, Texas that I love to frequent. ❤️
