In honor of Mayor Ron Nirenberg’s commitment to our community through aquifer protection and trails, quality of life, and clean water, the Brackenridge Park Conservancy and other organizations asked Gini Garcia to design a special gift for the mayor, who has had the ability to “pollinate” the community through a longer-view of projects that will continue to yield benefits long after he leaves office. With the “pollinator” idea in mind, Gini designed the stunning gift, simulating the flowers that attract the butterflies and with a monarch butterfly on top.
Thank you Frank Burney and the Brackenridge Park Conservancy for your trust!

To celebrate the 80th anniversary this year, Goodwill asked Gini Garcia to design an award with the shape of a bow tie, a signature trademark of Bill Sinkin, who founded the San Antonio store in 1945.
Mayor Ron Niremberg was one of the 2 recipients of the award and we’re honored to be part of this important moment. Congratulations to the Mayor of San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg
