San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet SA Met Ballet (1983-2021) was a pre-professional dance company, member Regional Dance America.

SA Met Ballet, founded in 1983 to provide high quality training for the talented youth of San Antonio in classical and contemporary dance, auditions dancers age 9 to members in their early 20s annually for company membership. SAMB brings extraordinary guest artists, groundbreaking choreography and family-friendly programming to the San Antonio community. San Antonio's sole member of Regional Dance America, our dancers have the opportunity to perform in educational dance festival across the United States and Canada, networking with master teachers and college recruiters. We support artistic standards that include quality training, discipline, healthy lifestyles and mutual respect. SAMB's accomplishes its mission by creating programming that is based on the fundamental beliefs of supporting youth throughout their artistic development. By providing an outlet for artistic expression, SAMB dancers have graduated to dancing in the finest college institutions and prestigious companies across the world.
