Classes are offered for children, teens and adults. Our mission is to bring the joy and beauty of Mexican regional dance to people of all ages, everywhere. The dance company has performed at innumerable events including festivals, fairs, conferences, grand openings, weddings, quinceañeras and other celebrations. Notable venues include: Texas Cowboys Stadium, Texas Rangers Stadium, Texas State Fair

, Texas Folklife Festival, Fiesta San Antonio, Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) and Six Flags-Fiesta Texas. The company has traveled to out-of-state and international venues as well as throughout the state of Texas. We hold an an annual recital every May at the outdoor Arneson River Theater on San Antonio’s famed Riverwalk.

Wishing for a safe and memorable holiday to all this Memorial Day. We remembered the women, who not only cooked and cared for the wounded during the 1910 Mexican Revolution, but also picked up arms and fought in battles against the conservative Mexican government. This is an excerpt from the dance “Las Adelitas,” originally conceived by the Ballet Folklórico de Mexico. The name comes from Adela Velarde, a real-life warrior and nurse who fought in the Revolution.
