In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month we are celebrating a few of the incredible Hispanic owned businesses, creatives, and events that help make San Antonio the vibrant and thriving community it is. 🌺 ✨

👗 — founded by mother daughter duo Anna Sophia and Maria Aguilar, MexiChic SA is a San Antonio based brand inspired by Mexican heritage, fashion, and design. Since 2020 they have worked directly with artisans across Mexico to create vibrant one of a kind pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern style — supporting 45 makers and their communities along the way.

🥐 — founded in 1941 by Pedro and Cruz Cortez, Mi Tierra Cafe began as a three table café in San Antonio's Mercado and has since grown into a world famous landmark. Known for authentic Tex Mex cuisine, live music, and warm Texas hospitality — their Panadería has been serving up fresh traditional Mexican pastries and dulces made daily in house since 1955. A San Antonio institution that has been bringing generations together for over 80 years.

🎶 — Dieciséis at Pearl is honoring Mexico's independence with a civic ceremony in partnership with the Consulate General de México en San Antonio. Expect live mariachi performances, cultural artwork on display, and activities for the little ones. Happening at Pearl Park from 6 PM to 9 PM on Tuesday September 15. Do not miss it. 🇲🇽
