What a weekend! 🥹✨ Alebrije is back, and our hearts are FULL.

Our first pop-up with Chef Chris Mendez was such a special one. After some time away, getting back in the kitchen, baking our classics, and seeing so many familiar and new faces reminded us exactly why we love doing this. 💕🇲🇽
Thank you to everyone who showed up, grabbed some pan dulce, shared the love, and supported Alebrije. And a huge thank you to Poetic Republic Coffee Company. for welcoming us into their space. ☕️🩷

Hola Familia Alebrije ❤️

We wanted to share an important update. Alebrije will be closing temporarily as we go through a personal and career transition that makes it difficult for us to continue running our beloved project at the standard we hold ourselves to.

If you’ve been with us, you know that we pour our hearts into everything we create—starting our mornings at 2 and 4 a.m., driven by passion and love for what we do. Right now, we’re in a moment of change, and rather than offering something that isn’t our best, we’ve decided to take a pause.

We don’t have a reopening date just yet, but we’re working hard behind the scenes to return stronger than ever. In the meantime, feel free to reach out—we’re even considering a limited pick-up day so you can still enjoy your favorite treats.

We truly appreciate your support and understanding. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but we’re hopeful and excited for what’s next.

In the meantime, we’re adjusting our business hours:
