A little health update. ❤️

Unfortunately, I still don't have normal function in my hand. I can't grip, bend, or use it properly, which makes baking and decorating safely impossible right now.

From what I've researched, it can take up to a month after the injection for symptoms to improve, so for now I'm focusing on healing and following my doctor's recommendations.

That means The Lemony Lion will remain closed until further notice. Thank you all for your patience, prayers, and support during this unexpected health journey. We can't wait to get back in the kitchen as soon as it's safe to do so. 🦁🍋

Just a little kitchen update! ❤️

I've been trying to keep things simple while my hand heals, so I recently made a batch of brownies and homemade hamburger buns since they didn't require too much hand use. 🍫🍔

We'll be sharing the satisfying cut into both of them later today, so stay tuned!

Happy July, everyone! ☀️🍋

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has reached out with prayers, kind words, and support as we work through this little health hump. It truly means so much to me and my family.

Quick update: I met with the hand surgeon today, and we're going to try a cortisone injection first and see how it goes.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to take a short break, focus on healing, and figure out the next steps. We can't wait to be back serving you all.

Quick health update 💛

After being seen, I found out I have a severe ear infection and an ulcer, so I'll be taking some medications and getting plenty of rest. I also have an upcoming appointment with a hand surgeon for an injury to my right hand, so we're waiting to see what the next steps are.

With all of that going on, The Lemony Lion will be closed until Monday, July 6th so I can focus on healing.

Thank you all so much for your patience, prayers, and continued support. We can't wait to be back serving up fresh goodies for you soon! 🍋🦁

🍋 LEMONY LION PSA 🦁

Hey everyone! Lauren here.

I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for all the well wishes, prayers, love, and support. It truly means more to my family and me than you know.

Without getting too far into my personal health details, I want to reassure everyone that I am not contagious. I'm just still not feeling 100%, and I want to make sure I take the time to figure out what's causing these "bad days" so I can get back to doing what I love.

I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and with family plans for the Fourth of July weekend, The Lemony Lion will be closed until further notice. While I hate stepping away, I know taking care of my health now is the best way to make sure I can continue serving you all for a long time to come.

Thank you again for your patience, kindness, and continued support. We appreciate every single one of you, and we can't wait to be back in the kitchen baking your favorite goodies very soon.
