A little knee action tonight.

This was a treat to work on. This is the first 4hrs of revamping this sleeve done 20 years ago by artist Kristal Tarron. Held up so well these past two decades because she understood the importance of making it structurally sound. Usually revamping a tattoo this old involves a lot of overhauling or straight up covering up. What I’m doing is giving it an opaque makeover meaning I’m using mixed greys from solid black to solid white to give a modern realism feel. This one feels more like a collaboration. It’s like having fun adding the icing to a well made cake. Can’t wait to get back to it! 🤘🏽
