Help Scream X Studio Bring Original Horror Films to Life

Scream X Studio is an independent horror and sci-fi film production company dedicated to creating original stories, original characters, and original films while giving local filmmakers, actors, and crew members an opportunity to be part of the filmmaking process.

We are asking for your help as we continue growing our studio and working toward our next productions.

Every donation will go directly toward the equipment and production supplies we need to make our films, including:

Cameras and filmmaking equipment
Professional lighting
Microphones and audio equipment
Props and set materials
Costumes and wardrobe
Special effects and practical effects supplies
Production equipment and other filmmaking necessities

As an independent studio, we don't have a major Hollywood budget behind us. We are building these films with the help of our community, local talent, and people who believe in independent filmmaking.

THE STAIN (2026) – OFFICIAL POSTER REVEAL
Some things should stay buried beneath the water.
Scream X Studio proudly unveils the official poster for The Stain — our first horror film release of 2026.
David travels to his Uncle Mike’s isolated lake cabin in the East Texas wilderness for a quiet getaway from life and work. Before sunset, Uncle Mike leaves to handle business at the ranch, promising he’ll return later that night.
But the lake is hiding something ancient.
When Uncle Mike finally returns to the cabin, he discovers a horrifying scene waiting near the shoreline — David’s remains reduced to a blackened skeleton, covered in a thick tar-like substance at the water’s edge.
Something in the lake is alive.
And it doesn’t let go.
Blending old-school creature horror, isolation, suspense, and survival terror, The Stain is a dark independent horror film inspired by classic monster movies and backwoods nightmares.
