We’d love your neighbor-owned businesses to be part of Colonies House’s upcoming National Night Out celebration on October 6, 2026. Not as a vendor or fundraiser, we’re simply trying to connect neighbors and highlight the businesses that are owned and operated by people in our community. There is no cost and no financial obligation.

A COUPLE OF EASY WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:
• Set up a table. Bring yourself, a sign, a few business cards, flyers, samples, or whatever represents your business.
• Can’t host a table? We’ll also have a central display featuring neighbor-owned businesses. If you’d like to be included, just DM us to arrange a time to get your business cards, flyers, brochures, or other marketing materials.

Luckily our area was not hit as hard as others,
And the pool was sparkling this morning. Thanks for our Zumba team for understanding our cancellation as we did not know what we were waking up to this morning.

⚡ San Antonio, this is gonna hurt… CPS Energy warns some power outages could last several days.

Tens of thousands of customers remained without electricity Saturday morning after powerful storms ripped through the area, leaving behind downed lines, broken poles and fallen trees.

💨 San Antonio International Airport recorded a 77 mph wind gust, while 1.69 inches of rain fell there in roughly an hour.

As temperatures climb back toward the upper 90s, San Antonio libraries and Parks & Recreation centers are serving as cooling centers during normal Saturday hours. Pets are allowed.
