♻️🌍 Final Destination: Atacama Desert 🌍♻️

A dance inspired by an urgent environmental crisis—the Atacama Desert, now one of the world's fastest-growing dumping grounds for discarded clothing due to fast fashion waste.

Choreographed by Violeta De Leon Davila, this piece is a reflection on our consumption habits and a call to action. Where will we end up if we continue at this pace?

🌱 Created with repurposed, used, and donated materials—and after the performance, all clothing was donated to a school’s recycling bin to support sustainability efforts.

✨ Vision Fugitives ✨

A groundbreaking interdisciplinary project that merged contemporary dance, live music, and visual elements at the International Arts Festival 2024 at UIW. This collaboration brought Prokofiev’s compositions to life, performed by the incredible Dr. Ara Koh, under the coordination of Kevin Salfen.

As the choreographer, I sought to push artistic boundaries, exploring the synergy between dance and live music. This work was a testament to the power of collaborative creativity and female artistic expression.

In this climactic moment of Feath3red Rhapsody, contemporary movement takes flight. Choreographed by Violeta De Leon Davila and set to an original composition by Federico Chávez-Blanco, this segment explores the deep connection between humans and the avian world.

Each movement embodies the grace, strength, and fluidity of birds in motion—where the lines between human and nature blur in a breathtaking dance.
