What are you doing for St. Patrick’s Day?
Celebrate early on Saturday, March 14th with an Irish-inspired evening of song, dance, delicious food, and festive cheer—all while supporting our youth and troops.
American Legion Post 179, located at the historic Log Cabin Dugout Bar in San Anselmo, CA, is hosting a special fundraiser benefiting our local community youth programs and veterans both at home and abroad.
Set in the Post 179 headquarters—a log cabin built in 1933 and known by many as The Dugout—this annual tradition brings together local neighborhoods, talented performers, and great food to strengthen and extend our sense of community.
This family-oriented St. Patrick’s Day celebration will feature live music by The Shots String Band, a local favorite performing Irish, Old-Time, and Bluegrass tunes.
The evening continues with a lively Irish dance performance by students from the Brosnan School of Irish Dance. Dinner will include corned beef with carrots, cabbage, and potatoes, along with soda bread and Irish cookies.
