After a much needed day of rest the Raks Sanan gang would like to send out some VERY IMPORTANT "Thank You"s to everyone that made our Arabian Nights Hafla a success!!
The San Angelo VFW and staff were amazing! We had as much fun THIS year as we did last year!!
Nonya, and her amazing costumes, truly made it feel like a Middle Eastern Souk!
Cynthia and Sabrina, from Odessa really filled out our drum line! Two weekends in a row they made the trip from Odessa to San Angelo to drum with us!!
Abilene's very own Magic Lamp Dance Studio is always a crowd pleaser! Thank you for your talent and sisterhood!!
To our families and friends.....we could NOT do any of this without your love and support!!
The Raks Sanan troupe worked so hard both in class, and their spare time, to put this production together. We had an awesome turnout and we are definitely looking forward to next year's event!!
Until then..... it's officially spooky season!!!

San Angelo! It's time for another Beginner Belly Dance Class!! Come join us for a body-positive, educational, super fun class in a safe environment. Do something JUST for YOU!! Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 PM starting April 23rd. This is a 6 week session in which you will learn about different styles of Belly Dance, costuming, props, the culture, and some great dance moves! No experience necessary! No pre-registration required. Cost is $40 and that covers the whole 6 weeks. Location is Unity Church 5237 Bryant Blvd. S.
(Arrive a few minutes prior to the first class for some quick paperwork, please.)
